Complete e-commerce builds
Functional Magento-based stores, from application architecture and catalog setup to checkout, integrations, and the custom workflows needed to run the operation.
Independent software lab
We build, extend and maintain Magento and OpenMage stores, from complete commerce platforms to focused features, integrations and backend improvements.

IPK Labs builds its own software products and applies the same engineering mindset to selected client projects: understand the operation, build the functionality it needs, and keep the system maintainable.
Functional Magento-based stores, from application architecture and catalog setup to checkout, integrations, and the custom workflows needed to run the operation.
Custom modules, admin functionality, checkout logic, catalog behavior, pricing rules, order processing, and APIs built into your existing commerce platform.
Work inside an established codebase to implement features, resolve architectural problems, modernize components, and integrate external services. A full rebuild is not a prerequisite.
Established businesses can depend on mature Magento 1-based systems. We work with those codebases through Magento 1 maintenance, OpenMage development, custom modules, and integrations, without treating migration as the default starting point.
That can mean practical PHP modernization, security-oriented maintenance, search and performance improvements, or replacing fragile legacy components gradually. The right path depends on the platform's condition, business constraints, and long-term maintainability.
Custom Magento 2 modules and backend functionality for catalog and pricing logic, checkout extensions, and order workflows that standard configuration does not cover.
We connect APIs and external services, improve search and performance, and address infrastructure constraints as part of the application. Changes need to fit both the platform architecture and the operation behind the store.
Software for real operations
A store rarely operates alone. We connect commerce platforms with ERP and warehouse systems, inventory services, fulfillment providers, payment services, search platforms, and internal business systems.
Map ownership of orders, stock, and customer data. Use APIs, webhooks, and custom backend services to keep each system's responsibilities clear.
Use queues and background processing where appropriate, with synchronization that accounts for retries, duplicate events, and external service failures.
Build error handling and operational visibility into integrations so teams can identify failed updates and recover without guessing what happened.
Understand the bottleneck first, then improve the relevant part of the system. Slow storefront requests and backend operations can have very different causes.
Investigate inefficient MySQL or MariaDB queries, heavy custom modules, and outdated integrations. Refactor the parts responsible for unnecessary work.
Integrate OpenSearch or external search engines, improve catalog indexing, and account for multilingual search and how catalog updates reach the search system.
Review Redis caching, background jobs, and deployment infrastructure. Work with Docker and AWS where appropriate to the store's existing environment and operational needs.
Complete implementations and focused work on commerce systems that need to keep running while they evolve.
A working commerce platform should not be rebuilt simply because it is old. We assess architecture, business workflows, integrations, technical debt, and operational risk alongside migration cost and maintainability.
A full rebuild can be the right decision. Incremental improvements can also provide better value with less disruption. The recommendation should follow the evidence in the system and the needs of the business.
